Central Park Stroll

Central Park is truly my happy place when it comes to busy NY city life. Especially on those days where its not extremely crowded (side bar, this was not one of those days). We started taking pics with a group of blogger babes at The Boathouse. If you have not eaten there, it is a must on my NYC eatery list.

I don’t know the park that well, and usually when I am there I stick to the places I know. However I really wanted to find this specific bridge. My photographer Mary Kate, and my friend Megan, were game to come with me to find it.

We typed it in google mags and off we went. First mistake, Always just ask the locals when in New York. They are always more insightful then any map can be! We basically walked around the entire park (which is a long a** way) and came back to where we originally started, to find out that the bridge we were looking for was literally 250 yards from where we started!

Luckily, we had eaten pasta for the previous three meals, so adding a few steps over our 10K wasn’t going to kill us ;).

The Bow Bridge was amazing, and we had a really nice moment there capturing pics, and taking in the beautiful day! We even saw someone get engaged, as everyone around us then erupted into cheers and claps when the girls said yes! It was something out of a movie!

My new obsession is body suits. I am loving pairing them with jeans and high waisted skits. I added a camo shirt jacket here because the weather was going from hot, to chilly when in the shade. These platform shoes are so comfortable and saved my feet this day! I’ve loved mixing leopard and camo. I know it seems like an unlikely pair, but they seem to always go very well together. My belt is $15, I got a S/M. My jeans are stretchy. fit tts, and I love the way the are cut shorter in the front. You can shop all the details of my look below!
