Music festival season is here, and I couldn’t be more excited! Queue all the glitter and fringe please. When I mentioned that I was going to be going to Coachella this year so many people asked me for questions on what to pack when attending festivals this Summer so I wanted to give you a one stop shop for all your festival needs this year.
One thing I love about music festivals is the weather. While it may be warm during the day you can toss on a cute hat and some jean shorts are you’re ready to go. It has been warm here during the day so a good hat was a must have for me, and obviously they transition into the evening for a cute look. Another must have for festivals is anything and everything hair accessory related; charms, glitter, colored extensions… you’ll see it all. I chose to add a few hair charms to my braids one day and some glitter to my space buns the next. (I’ve linked those below as well) tip: I used small dainty earrings as hair charms. They are easy to attach.
When it comes to fashion at festivals I like to go a little extra which is totally acceptable when you are at these events. Toss on those extra wide bell bottoms, wear that crop top, and add 20 gold necklaces!
Lastly, there are a few must haves, festival emergency kit so to say. I would absolutely include these items when packing to bring with you during the day; a backpack, a cross body or fanny pack for easy access items, a light jacket, sunscreen, a power pack, a hat, sunglasses, possibly a comfortable of shoes incase you get to doing more walking then you expect.
