Intraceuticals Oxygen Facial + Esthetiques Skin Spa

Girl wash your face!!! I’ve been reading Rachel Hollis book, and I’m not going to lie the title totally hooked me. There are some nights where I literally have to tell myself this because I’m so tired from traveling or my day, ha! We are all adults (sorta), so that means skin care is now a huge part of our daily life. I have a ton of good products that I am using right now, which is another topic for another day, but I have found out recently when traveling as much as I have been, that isn’t enough.

Your skin is just like anything else. You have to train it to preform, and fuel it constantly. (DRINK WATER) Ugh I know so annoying, and something I’m working on, but the struggle is real. I’m such a DC lover. For those of you out there that can sleep in their make up, have no wrinkles, and have never had acne a day in your life… 1. don’t tell people this, because they will hate you, 2. you are a unicorn. For the rest of us, it’s a contact process, and sometimes it can be ever changing.

Here is one of my secrete… these days I have been getting my skin professionally treated in several ways, and I can tell a huge difference. When I travel or have long weeks where I am in full make up a ton of have super hard workouts it just seems to require more than my regular routine. I have found a home for my skin at Esthetiques Skin Spa. Their owner Brandi is not only knowledgeable, but is also on top of trends in the industry. I also love that they offer an AMAZING spray tan. Nothing like being able to get a salt scrub then hop in that spray tan booth.

My current favorite though is their “Intraceuticals Oxygen Facial.” Lexis was my esthetician, and here are the deets:

-This mask lowers the temp of the skin by 10 degrees for a firming effect.

-They applied the mask close to my eyes, and covered my lips for lymphatic drainage.

-She chose cinnamon for its healing properties, and because it allows for product penetration. (which is an excellent precursor to the intraceuticals oxygen infusion)

-Intraceuticals uses hyperbaric oxygen, which is oxygen under pressure to infuse vitamins like a, c, e, green tea extract and aloe vera, plus hyaluronic acid into the skin for its moisturizing and plumping effects. The oxygen is also very healing.

-She used 2 serums To target brightening and hydration.

-She finished with intraceuticals 3 step hyaluronic layering process in opulence for brightening.

-Then she sealed the skin with NuFACE microcurrent.

The goal with this facial was a bright, and lifted complexion with increased hydration. Going back to my original point. After so much travel to dryer climates, or simply when the weather changes, or just because you might need it. This facial has been plumping me and giving me a smoother brighter skin surface. The facial is $175 and takes an hour.
