During this crazy journey, post The Blind Side, my family and I have met some amazing people. One of them, at the top of that list, would be the Sherri Hill Team.
Wandering around the Atlanta Market, Mom and I stumbled upon her beautifully beaded formal gowns. Not thinking twice about it, we stepped into her show room and quickly ran through our situation. We needed a nice dress for all three Blind Side premiers, and wanted something special and unique. I’m sure you can imagine how that story went… There is a movie being made about our family… Sandra Bullock and Tim McGraw are in it… my brother just got drafted to play professional football… blah blah blah… Sounds totally believable right?!?!
Sherri came out from the back and introduced herself and her daughter (Alisha). She quickly pulled out her sketch pad, gave my mom and me a good once over look, and sketched out several ideas. It was quite possibly one of the most fun fashion moments of my life. Wandering about her show room with hundreds of dresses, trying them on, and the designer herself giving her most honest opinion on what to choose. It was a day for the books.
Over the years Sherri and Alisha have both been so wonderful to our family and outfitted us for our most important events. Red carpets, charity events, galas, weddings, and much more. Stay tuned to see a run down of all the amazing dresses!
