This is one of those special Sherri Hill dresses that I will always look back on with a smile. I knew right when I saw the pearl accented top, white satin fit, and flare bottom it would be the perfect welcome party dress.
Even though my wedding was in Memphis (my hometown) we had about as many, if not more, out of town guests. So we treated it almost as if my wedding was a destination wedding.
My mom’s sweet friends (who are all like my mothers) threw Cannon and me a beautiful welcome party. It was a really special way to start off the weekend and get everyone together to celebrate… my dress put me in the festive mood!
It was comfortable and fun at the same time. I felt every bit like the “Bride”! I added a few pics here because I wanted everyone to be able to see the detail on top and the pockets!!
