How to go Day to Night NYFW

To endure the long days of fashion week you must come prepared. Cabs are hard to get because everything is so crazy busy, and ubers take forever. You need to kick off those heels, slip on the walking shoes, and make a quick costume change before your next event. You will jump from a casual show room meeting, to a runway show, so finding the right clothes for all of the above is tricky. I found having an outfit that can go day to night, or warm to cold (the weather changes every five seconds this time of year in NYC) and being prepared with your walking shoes, made my week so much more enjoyable! I wore a dress I could add a jean jacket to, and causal it down, or I could drop the jacket, add my heels and head to a party! I switched my purse from a cross body during the day to a red clutch, to dress it up a little as well. My first New York Fashion week was a blast! My dress is from Zara, this summer. They don’t have mine any longer, but I tagged one similar. My shoes are Steve Madden. Below are a pair of Adidas that are similar. My jacket is my mom’s from the 80’s. Nothing like a little vintage jean jacket. It is Levi, and they always have the staples, so I tagged one very similar. My purse is GiGi New York, and is a holiday edition. It comes out very soon, but I tagged one similar as well.
